  1. Does anyone know how can I edit this database created by php using a pyhton code?

I'm working on a project and from GPIO pinout i recieve some information and it goes to a python code.

I need this information to go to a MySQL database so I can show it later using php.

The only doubt I have is, how am I gonna call the database from my source code?

I hope someone can help me

  2. help. whenever i submit the details or check the view.php website, it says the folowing. Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES). I dont know how to fix this.

  3. I have been trying to fix the error everybody is getting, but I finally found out after numerous tries that you have to edit 2 php files in your /www directory. Just putting it out there.

  4. Can anybody help me, i did everything that he told me to do one the website and come up with the following error.Β

"Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'(using password: NO)"

  5. MM used password123 as a pw to login to the MySQL server from the php files. Either change them to match the password you used, or change your root password for the MySQL server back to password123.

  6. Peter it's the problem with latest phmyadmin with all the LAMP or MAMP or XAMPP it would be better for you to install some other mysql client app to access and edit mysql rather using phpmyadmin. That's the solution i found in my MAC btw you'll have to find and install it in your pi and then work on pi with it. Hope that helps.

  7. Hey Peter Aberg i found a solution.

In the file submit.php on the line 11 u can see there is a username and a password. You rpobebly have another password then 'password123' just like me. Change the password there and u are good to go.

Srry for bad english. Im Dutch

  8. because when i restart the service it says

[….] Restarting web server: apache2apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.1.1 for ServerName
… waiting apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.1.1 for ServerName
    . ok

  9. i have tried finding the issue but i havent had any luck. it shows the correct index.html when i type in my ip/index.html otherwise it just displays the old one even though i have deleted this file! I did a test to make sure data i enter into sql is showing up in the view page and it is but still its not displaying the correct page! I have also changed the php files server to what mine shows when i restart apache2. the only problem i think it can be is the installation of the web server.

  10. hopefully you can help with my problem! I have been following your tutorials and havent had an issue until i opened internet explorer and put in my ip and the page doesnt show what the index html shows. it shows the old html code when apache was first installed –

    ie 'It works!
This is the default web page for this server.
The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet

i have changed all the php files that contained the password 'password123' to what i set mine to.

  11. Really great tutorial. Can you add a tut on port forwarding and how using the server some one can click buttons on server scripts to get the gpio going on the pie.

  12. Great video,
I got an error when I try to acces the php database via the web browser:
Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I know I have enabled password in order to access the Apache server, can it be this that cause the problem?
